Concentration

All mined ores are processed at Talnakh Concentrator and Norilsk Concentrator. The resulting thickened concentrates are transported via slurry pipelines to the metals operations of the Norilsk Division for further processing.

Metallurgy
Nadezhda Metallurgical Plant and Copper Plant process thickened concentrates supplied by Talnakh Concentrator and Norilsk Concentrator. The Norilsk Division’s enterprises produce nickel converter matte for Kola MMC, as well as cathode copper, commercial sulphur, selenium, precious metal concentrates, and tellurium ingots.

The precious metals produced by the Norilsk Division are refined at Krastsvetmet, Urals’ Innovative Technologies, and the Prioksky Plant of Non-Ferrous Metals under tolling agreements.
