At the 14^th Director of the Year Awards ceremony in Moscow, Pavel Platov, Nornickel’s Corporate Secretary, became the winner in the Corporate Governance Director / Corporate Secretary category.

“By presenting this award experts have recognised the outstanding performance of the entire team, which I am proud to lead. Without effective teamwork, it would be impossible to meet the highest work standards of the secretary office, which often deals with the most delicate matters,” said Pavel Platov.

Pavel Platov has been Nornickel’s Corporate Secretary since 2011.

The Professional Directors Association and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs established the Director of the Year award in 2006. Today this is one of the most prestigious corporate governance awards in Russia.

Over the years, a number of Nornickel employees have received the award, including Gareth Penny, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Andrey Bougrov, Senior Vice President, Roger Munnings, Chairman of the Audit and Sustainable Development Committee, and Dmitry Pristanskov, State Secretary — Vice President and Head of GR.
